Overview

ClubMacApp is based on CVS, or Concurrent Version System, as a repository for the source code and associated files for Apple's MacApp product. Subscribers use MacCVS Pro as their interface to the ClubMacApp repository.

Since ClubMacApp does not redistribute MacApp subscribers must first acquire their own copy of the MacApp product from Apple Computer. The ClubMacApp service is intended for those clients that are already actively involved in developing MacApp-based applications. If you are not currently a MacApp developer please visit Apple's MacApp web pages for more information about MacApp.

Once you have subscribed to ClubMacApp you will use the MacCVS Pro session file provided in your subscription kit to connect to the ClubMacApp web site and check out any recently changed files.

When you have a change to MacApp that is ready to be shared with the other ClubMacApp clients you can check those changes in to the source code repository. A report of your check-ins will be mailed automatically to all subscribers.
